Submit Manuscript

For Reviewers

In terms of the manuscript, the reviewer is accountable to both the author and the editor. Peer-reviewed publications aid in the evaluation of scientific funding decisions and the academic advancement of scientists. Based on the Guidelines for Peer Reviewers, some important guidelines for reviewers are provided below. Our goal is to complete quality peer-review in a timely manner.

  • A reviewer should only accept a manuscript for review if he or she has subject expertise. If the topic is unrelated, the reviewer should notify the editorial office within 48 hours of the non-judgment on the assigned manuscript.
  • The review comment provided should be clear to both the editor and the author. For greater clarity, examples should be submitted to justify their commensurability.
  • The review comment should be genuine and should not be influenced by the origins of the manuscript, nationality, religious or political beliefs, gender or other characteristics of the authors or by commercial considerations.
  • The comment should be submitted as soon as possible to avoid a delay in publication. If the time allotted for review is insufficient, the reviewer may request an extension to finish the review.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of manuscript details and peer-review comments are necessary during or after the review process.
  • Reviewers should not use any information related to the manuscript obtained during the peer-review process for their own or any other person’s or organization's advantage or to disadvantage or discredit others.
